Hi Emma, the care label of the jacket will state something along the lines of the following:

Machine wash cold,Front load washing machine, Powdered detergent (meaning something similar to soap flakes) , Rinse thoroughly, No fabric softeners, Do not iron, Do not bleach, Do not dry clean, Tumble dry low, with tennis balls to fluff, Close all fastners. . I like.

It was delivered to me now.I like the color, the pattern, the way it fits and the fact that you can wear other thicker clothes underneath, if necessary. In a word, I like it.
