Product description
Everything is possible! If you are looking for a large backpack for mountain adventures in cold weather, then the Osprey Kamber 42 is the right thing.
This touring backpack can be used on tours with skis, crampons or snowshoes and provides special attachment points for all your winter hardware. In case the volume is too large, the top compartment can be removed. The flap jacket will then serve as cover of the snow guard making a complete closed backpack with less volume. A rope can be tightened under the raised top compartment.
The Kamber's padded carry system with its soft waist belts ensures that the weight of the transported load is comfortably distributed. The back system is snow-repellent (just as the upper material) and provides access to the compartment for avalanche equipment. The hydration system solution is very elaborate as well. During tours in icy conditions the reservoir is stowed away into the inside of the backpack and the tube is led through an insulated tunnel preventing residual liquid from freezing.
From waist belt to top compartment - the Osprey Kamber 42 is just completely well-conceived and makes you want to start immediately on the snow tour!
