Product description

Durable and versatile mountaineering partner

Durable, functional and sustainable: the Trad 35 from Ortovox! The multifunctional climbing and mountaineering backpack is made of a weatherproof, tear-resistant, durable and mostly recycled 420D nylon fabric. With its slim, elongated shape, it’ll stay close to your body when climbing and keep your centre of gravity at the right place. The Trad 35 has a compact and more minimalistic design to ensure a smooth trip. To make it more light weight, you can remove the back panel and the padded hip belt.

In addition, there are numerous attachment points for your climbing, mountaineering and skiing equipment.

Climbing-specific features

Some other great features include the easy-to-use lid closure and the additional front access with all-round zip that provide quick access to your gear. The interior is also very bright, so you can easily see your things. In addition, there is a separate valuables pocket for smaller items, such as your keys and wallet. And should an emergency arise, Ortovox included an emergency card that you can quickly take out when you need it.

Great backpack for ski touring

This is one of the best backpacks I have bought for my ski touring trips. Its It is very light (only 850g) and has good access features so you don't have to empty half the bag to find things. Zip access at the bottom is excellent. The bag is large enough for overnight stay in a hut, to include avalanche kit, change of cloths and lots of room in the top zip pocket for small items. Almost Everything can be done single handed, except perhaps putting the skis on the pack.
