I've had Ortovox for years. So I was above Zermatt and a friend had a serious accident. The Cervinia patrol arrived, who were brilliant. And they all had Ortovox Peak rucksacks.
I obtained the Peak 35 to rest my 20 year old Ortovox Stratus 32, which is still pretty perfect. But the Peak 35 is much more modern, a better fit, sleeker, and great for carrying in the mountains. Doesn't quite fit some airlines as carry on, but that is the only drawback.
Plenty of other brands are available, but Ortovox is to me the finest. And I'm not the only judge. Just ask the people who really know - Cervinia mountain Rescue!
