Product description
The Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 shines where all other tents have failed! This geodesic tent is perfectly suited for winter mountaineering and expeditions at high altitudes. Not only is it extremely sturdy, but it is also capable of withstanding strong winds and heavy snow. Due to the fact that the Trango 2 2-man tent is much roomier than other expedition tents, you’ll be able to wait out the weather without feeling cramped.
For the necessary stability, the tent has been equipped with the industry-leading high-quality DAC poles. Plus, Mountain Hardwear used Evolution Arch Tension technology for the Trango 2, which is reinforced fabric that serves to add strength to the tent’s poles. The rest of the tent’s material is less strong in order to keep the weight to a minimum.
The inner tent is made of both wind-repellent Ripstop fabric for the floor and lightweight mesh for the upper. This combination makes the Trango tough enough for the winter whilst still providing sufficient ventilation.
You’ll have ample room for your gear in the two vestibules. So, no need to worry about your gear taking up room in the inner tent. In addition, the tent is equipped with windows for a bright interior. Plus, you’ll be able to see what’s going on outside without having to get out of the tent. The Trango 2 is best suited as a base camp for all sorts of high-altitude mountaineering adventures and polar expeditions.
