Lightweight but tears very easily.
This product is light weight, and packs down well. However I tore mine in 3 places after a tripping over in some heather. Which i would say is not uncommon, especially in wet conditions. I was also wearing a rain jacket, which was completely fine (gotetex not drillite though)!
This material is not rugged enough for walking. And alpine trek would not replace the trousers, so for £90 you better be sure footed and NEVER trip over, or your nice walking trousers will be torn! The material once torn, also continues to tare.
I tore them on their 4th outing, which was only weeks after I bought them!
I would not recommend this product to any walkers who want something durable, there are far better and cheaper alternatives!
