Keep shoes clear and laces from opening
These work well to keep heather and dirt out of your shoes. I got them as I use hoka speedgoat and the laces keep opening on them when I run through heather, so the gaiter also prevents that. You cannot use other gaiters with speedgoats as there is no room for a strap underneath so I tried this Velcro system. I was surprised that it lasted 6 hours of very rough heather, gorse, forestry and mud. I’m not sure how long they’ll last but for now, they’re great and do what I need them to do. I’m not sure of durability but they’re not intended to be super hard wearing.
