Product description

Waterproof approach shoes with a GORE-TEX membrane

The Friction GTX approach shoes from Millet should be the first choice for your next alpine tour, thanks to the use of a GORE-TEX membrane integrated into the upper. This membrane makes these mid-cut walking shoes both breathable and waterproof. In addition, moisture is quickly wicked away to the outside, allowing your feet to stay pleasantly dry. Practical heel loops make it easy to put the shoes on and take them off again, while the durable laces made from elastic material ensure a comfortable fit on every hike.

Ideal for challenging tours thanks to their durable construction

The grippy Vibram outsole provides powerful grip even on demanding terrain. Plus, these approach shoes are designed with a tough scree protection rim made from rubber, which optimally protects your feet and toes in technical terrain. With the versatile Friction GTX from Millet, your next trip to the mountains will be a comfortable one.

The highlights at a glance:

  • Versatile approach shoes, also suitable for via ferrata and hikes
  • Durable leather upper
  • Breathable and waterproof GORE-TEX membrane protects against the wet
  • Rubber scree protection rim

I will never buy Millet shoe again

Late 2nd series of friction changed the front end of the sole. So the front end of the sole is curved downwards.
Incredible, and Millet denies it.

Sole problem

The product by itself is good, I have several to check visually before I purchased one. I really have to check every detail on shoes, and as I had one already with problematic sole gluing (cause pain in small foot finger) and had problem ontrail with small foot finger due to bad sole.

Contacted Millet and they have long procedure, I just get to shop and bought the new one but firmly checked everything about the shoe.

Yes Millet have problem with gluing the sole randomly, and yes you have to check them visually as I did in local store. But the product when good glued is great. So product 5 stars, support 1 star, finish 2 stars, so overall it is 3 stars for the product
