It's incredible how light the Marmot Tungsten 4P 4-man tent is when you divide it up among 4 people. Each person will only have to carry 700 grams! For a windproof and waterproof shelter with storage space and a cooking area, that's not half bad! If you and your fellow campers lie down like sardines (head, foot, head, foot), then you should get on fine with the amount of space. The Tungsten UL 4P is ideal for true minimalist trekkers, friends sharing a tent at a festival or camping by the lake at the weekend. If you're planning a longer adventure with four people, you'll all have to get on really well in order to endure it for longer. The available space is perfect for three people. The fly is designed not only to withstand wind, rain and UV rays but also does to retain its shape and not stretch when wet so that it remains taut. All seams are taped, and the floor is raised at the sides. Pitching the tent is extremely quick and easy, especially since the clips and poles are all colour-coded. The two vestibules are large, and there are plenty of side pockets for any small items you may need during the night. The No See Um Mesh at the entrance will keep mosquitoes out and provide excellent ventilation in the process. When a 4-man tent like the Tungsten UL is at full capacity, good ventilation is absolutely essential.
