Product description
The Mammut Ride RAS Backpack is the mid-size avalanche airbag pack versatile enough for freeriding or big day tours in the backcountry. This pack is smartly equipped with the RAS removable airbag system that features a large square airbag to help protect against head trauma in the event of a slide. It's also a bright orange that makes it easier for rescuers to spot you.
The pack's adjustable aluminum V-frame and two-layer EVA back panel gives oodles of back support and weight transferal to the hips. The shoulder straps and hips belt is covered with stretch fabric for increased comfort and mobility. The hip belt removes when traveling light. The front pocket holds your shovel and other avy equipment for easy access. And a zippered inner compartment secures small essentials. Attach your skis or board with the designated carriers, and gear to the two attachment loops for secure and organized travel. There's even a padded goggle pouch.
Please note that this system does not include the Refillable Compressed Air Cartridge, which is available separately. And please remember, this airbag system is NOT a guarantee that you will survive an avalanche; get educated, get the right tools, travel with partners, and be smart out there.

Hallo Heiko,

Servus, Daniel
