Mammut - Removable Airbag System 3.0

The Removable Airbag System 3.0 from Mammut is an avalanche airbag system with a square, neon orange-coloured balloon. In the event of an avalanche, the airbag will inflate behind your head within 3 seconds of activation and, with its 150 litres of compressed gas, ensures that the airbag "floats" on the surface.

The avalanche airbag can prevent a burial or partial burial and also increases the possibility of self-rescue or of getting quickly localised. Plus, the System 3.0 has been continuously optimised compared to the previous models and now weighs a lot less and can be stowed away more easily in the compatible Removable series backpacks without ruining the material and organisation on the inside! But that’s not all: you simply need to screw in the suitable cartridge and the system will be ready to use!

Please note: It is not compatible with Removable Airbag Backpacks 2.0 (the seasons winter 2011/12 to winter 2015/16)!
