These are good winter pants; don't get me wrong, but they are strangely cut. I have several Mammut pants, and 56 is my perfect size. These pants in 56 are short and overall to tight. If worn on the base layer as one would if doing a winter ascent, they are tight. For these pants, you need to size up and still not be sure if the length will fit. Also, no front hook is available to attach to your winter shoes. Rather disappointed by Mammut.
