Product description
For a long time women in the alpine world were forced to simply use smaller men's packs. Then came ""women-specific"" packs, which were really just men's packs in different colors. Lame. After years of feedback from many of the world's top female climbers, skiers, and alpinists, Lowe Alpine made the Women's Alpine Attack series, packs that are truly women's specific, in more than just name or colors. One of the best examples of this is the Lowe Alpine Women's Alpine Attack ND 35:45 Backpack, featuring a back panel, harness and hip belt that are shaped for the female body and made by people who have actually studied female physiology.
Don't think for a second, however, that Lowe Alpine spent all its time focusing on the women-specific fit and forgot to include all the features you'd want in a top-level alpine climbing pack. The Alpine Attack features glove-friendly buckles and straps so that you can make adjustments and transitions when the weather turns nasty, without risk of frostbite. Because there are times when you're going to need to wear a climbing harness, and packs just don't sit that comfortably over them, you can stow this hip belt (tuck it back into the pack) to eliminate chafing. The new, award-winning HeadLocker axe attachment system will allow you to attach even the most new-fangled of leashless climbing tools. Never again do you need to get turned away mid-route by a steep section of ice for which you weren't able to bring the proper tools. The movable strap under the lid allows you to reposition your attached rope or crampons so you can access the pack without having to constantly remove and reattach your vital equipment. The less time spent in transition means faster, safer climbing. Finally, because everyone knows that skiing down is more fun than walking down, Lowe Alpine added a versatile ski-carrying system that means you can easily bring skis along.

  • Glove-friendly buckles
  • Stowable hip belt
  • Double HeadLocker axe attachments
  • Rope and crampon strap under lid
  • Ski carrying system
