  • Toe box Overwrap rand construction controls foot creep when edging and smearing
  • Dual-density EVA midsole is soft under the heel for all-day comfort
  • Highly compressed EVA RockGuard in the forefoot adds protection from rough terrain
  • Vibram Idro-Grip rubber sole sticks to rock like glue
  • Impact Brake outsole design features lugs slanted in opposing directions, increasing braking power by an average of 20% and decreasing impact forces by an average of 20%

Genialer Schuh

Advantages
Good grip
Breathable
Stabilizes the foot
Finish
Disadvantages
Not waterproof

Advantages
Robust
Good grip
Disadvantages
Not waterproof
Causes blisters

Great Shoes, Bad Laces

Great Shoes, good quality and confortable design for use all day outdoors.

Laces rub over sharp bend on other fabric and wears through laces very quickly (~1-2 months) replaced with some more durable laces and been ok for last 2 months now and looking ok but something to be aware of!

Excellent shoes

I bought these for a trip to the Dolomites and I'm very pleased I did. The shoes are very light so great for long hikes. The soles provide excellent grip. They work well on scree, muddy rock and excellent even traversing and descending on soaking rock doing via ferrata.
The laces secure the shoe very comfortably. I'd be tempted to buy another pair to keep in the cupboard until this pair finally give in they are so good :)
They are not remotely waterproof however.
