Product description
Meandering through the dust-blurred landscape of southern Utah to reach your private slab for an afternoon of rock-reation means you're humping miles with climbing gear. Why add to your load with multiple pairs of shoes when La Sportiva makes the versatile Women's Xplorer Approach Shoe? This multi-tasking piece of lightweight footwear supports your 5-mile journey from the car to the crag and sticks to the slick spots when you're smearing over miles of flat slabs. Afraid of heights? This sticky shoe will make touring the rain-slicked cobblestone streets of London a firmly fabulous experience.
A triumvirate of air mesh, hi-wear mesh, and synthetic leather minimizes the amount of precipitation that creeps in and maximizes breathability. The Vibram rubber rand circling the toe box lets you romp through rubble without rollover. To-the-toe lacing lets you adjust the fit of the upper to meet the to-the-minute demands of your many activity options. Tighten the toe for easy edging, and then loosen the grip for comfortable hiking out when you're ready to call it a day.The women-specific Dynamic Tech keeps this shoe on the straight and narrow for a more precise fit. Dual-Density MEMIex blends EVA with SBR for a cushioned ride from dawn to dusk, and TPU prevents the Xplorer from getting tipsy. The RockGuard protects you forefoot from unyielding trail debris. Directionally juxtaposed lugs make steep inclines and dramatic descents simple and grippy, but the Vibram Idrogrip is star of the sole show. This material manages every condition on every terrain so hot, dry cragging is equally as sweet as cool, wet hiking.
