Product description

The Uragano GTX from La Sportiva are waterproof trail running shoes with a GORE-TEX membrane that are sure to live up to the highest of standards. They're perfect for running in snow and ice in the wintertime.The mesh upper is abrasion resistant and water-repellent. Plus, the toes have TPU reinforcements. The integrated gaiters provide excellent protection and fit like socks. Even though you won't be able to slip these on as easily as your other running shoes, they will really give you optimal protection in from water, snow, mud and debris. The fast lacing system is integrated into the shoe, allowing the wearer to get a more individualised and secure fit. The Gore-Flex lining is waterproof and breathable, so your feet will stay as warm and dry as possible. For stability and comfort, La Sportiva used an Ortholite Mountain Running Ergonomic footbed and an EVA midsole with a torsion stabiliser. The grippy FriXion sole delivers excellent traction on soft surfaces and snow. The sole is also compatible with AT Spikes, so you can get the grip you need on icy surfaces if necessary. The Uragano GTX are excellent trail running shoes for more advanced and professional trail runners alike!

My best trail running shoe yet!

In three years of use, they have held up very well and work very well on mountain trails without very large rocks. Sports shoes that are a little slippery on wet, rocky surfaces, but very soft and supportive. Recommend.

M second pair and not last!

Hope LaSportiva don't discontinue the model, I am on my second pair now. First pair lasted me like 5 years but I put them through all kind of abuse in all weather conditions. Most durable and robust trail running/hiking trainer I ever had.
