Product description
Designed to guarantee perfect stability on all types of off-road terrain thanks to the “STB Control” construction, a new concept in the world of Mountain running shoes. The TPU frame at the side of the uppers reaches and embraces the midsole in the medial part of the boot. This creates a snug fitting shoe with greater stability thanks to the upper and midsole working together in synergy. It also makes the product even more lightweight by avoiding having to insert heavy stabilizers into the central part of the shoe. The dual mix sole has graded touchpoints. The rounded shape of the external lugs, which gradually rise laterally to touch the midsole, create a continuous contact with the ground, thus maintaining stability in the case of extreme foot torsion. This allows the user to run in safety, even over technical terrain or in the presence of roots, stones and branches. The maximum support and snug fit of the medial part of the foot does not compromise freedom of movement for the toe. The result is a shoe in true La Sportiva style, satisfying the innovative solutions requested by the most demanding runners; rewriting the rules of the game with a totally new construction, never seen before in the trail running category. Bushido: the new way of the trail runner.

Great shoe!

I bought these shoes from Bergfreund a month or so ago and they've been a star purchase!

The grip is incredible on lots of surfaces, especially wet grass and muddy inclines. Even though they are light weight, running a few kms on the road into/out of trail doesn't present a comfort problem. I also indulged in a bit of 'running shoe Alpinism' when I didn't want to transition between rock books and B3s and found these took me quite a way up a route.

I'm an overpronator and have been moving away from stability shoes over the past season months. Event though this is a minimalist weight, I've found they provide perfect balance of enough stability, but without the weight compromise.

I also have quite narrow feet, so the slightly leaner fit suits me perfectly... However for longer/multi-day events, you may want to take a size up to allow for swelling.

Bergfreund has the added advantage of offering the entire size range - it the UK, sizes start at 40 and go up in 2 euro sizes at a time, compromising best fit opportunities - given the speed of postage and tracked parcel, I'd happily convince others in the UK to switch!
