Hi Natalie, Youll be needing 4.5 or 5mm x around 40mm long depending on the thickness of the wall.

Hi Justin, we would recommend attaching the holds to a wooden climbing wall and not to any sort of concrete or dry walls. There is no guarantee on how good they would hold then. Kind regards

Hi Katharine,
an exact diameter is hard to give. The holds are roughly 3-5 cm big.
Kind regards

Diversify your training with climbing holds

Climbing Holds

Don't be misled into thinking that all climbing holds are created equal. There are big differences in terms of quality when it comes to climbing holds. No matter how tempting the price may be, it’s well worth opting for a high-quality brand name product over something cheap. Training with climbing holds should not only be fun and effective, but also safe.

Climbing holds’ different shapes and colours

In the past, climbing hold manufacturers wanted to produce holds that look like natural rock structures, but today their goals have changed. They soon realized that an ergonomic grip helps reduce the risk of injury whilst training. Climbing holds with sharp edges and finger holes were quick to cause cases of tendonitis and capsular injuries, etc. At the end of the day training can only be effective if it doesn’t cause injury.

When it comes to the colour of climbing holds, it’s not only for aesthetics, but it also allows you to quickly recognize routes. You can therefore place different colours in a small space to create two or three different routes. Placing colourful climbing holds in your home is guaranteed to brighten up any room.

Safety and climbing holds

Another crucial feature of quality is safety standards. On the one hand, these standards guarantee that the climbing holds do not give off any harmful substances when coming into contact with your skin. On the other hand, they guarantee that the climbing hold will not fall should something break under a heavy load.
