Hi Len, The Hydra Light HydraCell energy cell is the heart of the Hydra-Light product line. The cells are robust and contain a membrane cathode and an alloy anode. Each compact, fully assembled cell is just under 13cm tall and easily fits into single or double configuration Hydra-Light products. Cells can be stored for 25+ years before activation. It is instantly activated to full capacity by simply immersing it in water. Once activated, the cell works continuously, requiring only periodic rehydration. After more than 300 hours, depending on load and usage, the cell can be refurbished for additional hours of use.
