Product description

The Rogen is an excellent tent for any trip in warmer and snow-free conditions where very light weight is of the highest importance. Dome construction affords stability and strength for use in more exposed situations, and makes the Rogen a great choice for tough pitching situations. It is quick and easy to set up, boasts two doors and two vestibules, and has room enough for two plus their gear - yet it is easily light enough for use as a (wonderfully roomy) solo tent. The pole system employs two long, crossing poles for the basic shape and a shorter pole in the roof, which both increases stability and provides head room in the vestibules. In keeping with its Yellow Label design, its outer tent does not go all the way to the ground, so air flow is constant, even in wet weather. And in fine weather, rolling away the vestibules exposes the near-full mesh inner tent doors for cross venting. Paddlers, summer mountain scramblers, backpackers, bicycle tourers - all will find the Rogen's remarkable spaciousness, two door comfort, and self-supporting construction appealing.- Kerlon 1000 outer tent fabric and 9 mmpoles make for a supremely lightweighttent that is still quite strong.- 3 season construction: outer tent wallsdo not extend to the ground and meshareas have no backing fabric panels.- Dome construction with two main crossingpoles is an excellent choice for toughpitching conditions.- The Rogen has a good amount of roomfor two occupants and their gear.- Linked but separable inner and outertent for simultaneous pitching.- Self-supporting dome design requiresonly the vestibules to be pegged, andthe lightweight pole system combines 9mm poles with Lock Tip ball ends, openended pole sleeves, and an innovativegrommeted webbing tab with an adjustabletensioner.- Dual entrances and vestibules ensurethat one door can always be situated outof the wind and provide flexible entry/exit and storage options.- An optional footprint covers only theinner tent area and not the vestibule. Itconnects directly to the tent, and can beleft attached during pitching.- The outer and inner tents can be usedseparately. Pitching the inner tent alonerequires moving the detachable poleholders from the outer to the inner tent.
