Take care with these in cold weather.

Used for back countty Nordic skiing - long day trips.

It's a gaunlet glove that protects against wind and water, but only for some time. It is not warm, even with Terry mitts. Good down to minus 15 C with NO wind. I was seduced by the write up and the Hestra name. At minus 26 C with no wind, it felt like my thumbs had been hit by a hammer, yes that painful. I had three layers, Helags gloves, a pair of Huber Dachstein Mitts and the Terry Mitts. It is sold as a gloves for really cold days. Better off with Wiggly or Altai Mitts - you can backcountry ski in both.
Dissapointed - these are very poor.
