Is this trailer truly waterproof ?and if not how much is a separate rain cover?..
I have to cycle my son to school every day all weather and my current trailer leaks I have bought a rain cover but it catches in the wheels when windy..so I really need to upgrade with the winter on its way..from scouring reviews on different trailers this seams to be 1 of the best for comfort seating height and safety..
If I was to order how quickly would delivery be?
Hi Michael, As the attachement system or hitch is designed to attach either to the frame of the bike or rear axle it will not be possible to attach the trailer to a tricycle. At least , I would think it not possible unless you can find a way of attaching the hitch to somewhere fairly central on the trike. Probably best to ask a local bike shop for their advice.
I'm aware that this trailer can be turned into a jogger with a jogger wheel. Does the jogger wheel come with the trailer or do I need to purchase it seperately?
I’ve been recommended this trailer but need the internal dimensions, i.e. the back height and leg room inside, and width as it’s for an older child. Are there more detailed photos of inside? The harness/head rest etc.? Thank you
Hi Carrieann, This is not a fully waterproof trailer. A seperate rain cover is made by Hamax but is currently not available. The cost will be approximately £50 and I would expect that we'll have stock again in the springtime. Otherwsie delivery for the trailer to the UK will need approximately 10-12 working days.
No good for me with out a rain cover!
Do you have anything that is waterproof?
With the same seating hight & legroom?.
It seams as everything is against me getting a decent sized trailer that will keep my son warm and dry
You'll not find any fully waterproof trailers, they will only be highly water repellent without the additional rain cover. One reason being that in warmer weather a waterproof trailer will be unbearable for a child.
