Product description
Tougher than a crocodile eating a barrel of nails, the Haglöfs Roc Hard Men's Jacket is bringing some serious Swedish ruggedness to this side of the Atlantic. The Roc Hard is the toughest jacket in Haglöfs' toughest lineup, constructed with a burly nylon and reinforced yoke, back, and sleeves to stand up to Ullr's worst when you're ski mountaineering or doing some alpine climbing. It's not particularly complicated, but that's because Haglöfs chose to focus on extreme durability and functionality rather than sticking on as many doodads and thingamajigs as possible. The fabric is laminated to a three-layer waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane, which will block precipitation and move sweat away from your skin, and the sleeves are articulated to keep you moving comfortably and efficiently through the mountains.

Sure, the Roc Hard doesn't have an integrated microwave or embedded phone charger, but it does boast an adjustable and helmet-compatible hood to keep your dome cozy, laminated underarm vents so you can dump heat on the climb, and enough pack-compatible pockets to easily hold all the small gear you need. There are no seams on the shoulders, sides, or inner sleeves to reduce rubbing and discomfort, while every zipper is water resistant and the front boasts a low-profile internal storm flap to make sure no moisture can sneak through. If you want your jacket to cook you dinner and play movies, look elsewhere, but if you're just looking for a bomber shell that thrives in serious conditions, the Roc Hard's right up your alley.

  • Nylon fabric with reinforced sleeves, yoke, and back
  • Gore-Tex Pro three-later waterproof and breathable membrane
  • Laminated underarm vents
  • Adjustable climbing-helmet-compatible hood
  • No shoulder, side, or inner-sleeve seams
  • Two high hand, two chest, and internal pockets
  • Articulated sleeves with gusseted hook-and-loop cuffs

-schmaler Schnitt
-extrem robust
-gute Detaillösungen (Taschen)
-die Unterarmbelüftung ist großzügig, sehr effektiv
-absolut Wasserdicht
-bei kälteren Temp. <10°C sehr atmungsaktiv

    Good cut

Nein, die Jacke hat keinen Schneefang.

Machs gut

  • Advantages
    Good cut
    Good details
    Hoher Kragen
  • Disadvantages
    Für eine 3-Lagen-Jacke schwer
