Product description

You could bank on your two-week trek through the north of Sweden being totally rain free, or you could just pack up the Haglöfs Astral II Q Women's Rain Jacket and be prepared. Never heard of Haglöfs? That's probably because it's brand new to North American, but it's been selling rugged, technical, and well-designed outerwear in Europe for 100 years-- in other words, it knows a little bit about staying dry on the trail. The Astral Q sports a waterproof and breathable two-layer Gore-Tex membrane, a tough nylon ripstop shell, and a DWR coating to keep you drier than a smoked herring, with underarm zips so you don't feel like you're hiking in a Scandinavian sauna. The dual zipper storm flaps, adjustable hood, and dropped rear hem give you extra coverage against the most insidious moisture, while the articulated sleeves let you point like a lunatic when you see a herd of reindeer on the side of the trail.

  • Gore-Tex two-layer waterproof and breathable membrane
  • Nylon ripstop fabric with a DWR treatment and mesh lining
  • Three-way adjustable hood
  • Underarm zips
  • Articulated sleeves with hook-and-loop cuffs
  • Dual zipper storm flaps
  • Multiple internal and external pockets
  • Dropped rear hem with one-handed adjustment

Gute Sache

  • Advantages
    Good details
    Good cut
  • Disadvantages
    Bad zip
