Product description
Perfect for professional mountaineers and tough conditions - the Rambo 4 by Grivel! This crampon is specifically designed for challenging climbs on hard frozen surfaces and for use in mixed terrain. Unlike crampons with a single center bar, the Rambo 4 is highly torsion-resistant, which is owed to its robust frame design. Since this design tends to build up snow, the Rambo 4 comes with tailor-made anti-balling plates. Curved plates underneath the heel and toes push snow out of the crampon. In addition, the center of the Rambo 4 is equipped with a strip of accordion rubber. With its stiff design, the crampon provides you with solid footing and relieves your calf muscles.
The Rambo 4 features ten vertical points and allows you to use mono points and dual front points individually. The crampons are standard equipped with mono points and supplied with four additional front points that also serve as replacement points. If necessary, a heel spur can be hooked up to the crampon.
Moreover, the Rambo 4 comes with the reliable Cramp-O-Matic binding system, which is particularly suitable for fully crampon-compatible trekking boots with a pronounced front and back sole edge. The system is easy to use and features a heel strap that ensures a firm and secure fit. The heel strap can be attached to the front bracket by means of a metal strip. Hard ice and steep rock - this is where the Rambo 4 belongs!

Mixedklettern und Drytooling

Verwendungsdauer: 3 Saisonen

Einsatzbereich: Hauptsächlich Mixedklettern und Drytooling, weiters reines Eisklettern

Positiv:

  • Advantages
    Good grip
