Product description

You can definitely justify using daisy chains for technical climbing, but they do pose certain risks when used incorrectly. Their loops are designed solely for static loading and can rip when used improperly (the keyword here is cross-clipping).



Grivel has a solution to this problem: the Belay Daisy Chain. For the Belay Daisy Chain, Grivel has constructed every single loop like a sling in a quickdraw, resulting in a strength of 23kN. Thus, by connecting mini slings made of high-strength Dyneema, Grivel has greatly reduced the risk of operating errors to make climbing safer. However, the construction does not replace expert training or mean you don't have to consult the safety instructions.
