Great boot but be careful

Very comfortable. Solid, very well made boots. Waterproof better than expected. I stood in a puddle up to the start of the yellow part of tongue and my feet stayed dry. Sizing is a real issue though. I take an 12 usually in boots which gives me room. I saw they were smaller made so I bought these in 12.5 However they are still a tad tight at the outside toes. I should have bought a 13.

Question from Lawrence

Sizing

I have tried on a friend's size 11/46 of these and found them to be too small. Would going up to a size 12/47 be a good fit for me? Or larger again?

Thanks.

Hi Lawrence. It's worth bearing in mind that Garmont have a narrower fit and thereby going up a size may not help. It's certainly worth trying but you may find yourself better served by a wider fitting brand such as Lowa or Hanwag.
