silk percentage softens the wool even more, it heats but also breathes very well, can be wore for long without washing, looks nice, long enough not to left your back out. I use it all the time for work (I'm a cinematographer so long hours in all kind of circumstances), for hikes and leisure. I wear it all the time and am smitten by it totaly :)
