The Dolomite Shoe Cinquantaquattro High Fg GTX is a lightweight, breathable and waterproof leather boot. This tough, high-quality boot is perfect for everyday wear in between seasons or in rather mild winter weather. Plus, it's good option to have for longer walks or easy hill walks as well.The nubuck leather is oiled to make it more durable and more water repellent. So, if cared for properly, the leather will remain very water repellent, and the boot won't get heavier in the rain. Underneath the leather upper, you'll find a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane, which will ensure that your foot stays dry and comfortable. The high-quality EVA sole will provide the grip on asphalt and in rougher terrain. The microporous midsole will cushion your every step, and the ergonomic DAS Light insole provides midfoot support. Alright, I’m not using these to trek up hill and down dale, but they are still the comfiest things I’ve had on my feet for years! Feel like they will last. They are pretty warm, which is good for most of the year, possibly a little much when the temperature goes above 20c though, depends on what you like however . And I think they look pretty good. The only caveat I would add is I’m not a hiker, so cannot comment on how good they would be in proper hiking terrain, at least as far as toughness goes, they will be comfortable though. Recommended.

There is insufficient padding on the top of the boot which causes the stitched seam above to rub on my right foot. The left boot squeaks. Not great.

Sturdy boot although a bit stiff. Excellent value for money.

These shoes are very good all-rounders. They are not the best shoes in any category but they are decent or very good in all conditions. They are light but still sturdy. They are warm, but not too hot. And they look good in the city in winter and in the mountains in fall. Love these boots and would definitely recommend them!
