The Alpinist Auto/Semi-auto crampons from Cassin are ideal for classic alpine projects and moderately steep terrain.


The crampons come equipped with sharp, horizontal front points made of steel and boast a asymmetric design, which follows the contours of modern boots to give you a precise fit. The front points interact with the secondary points beautifully, providing superior hold on climbs, whilst the four angled points help you brake on descents. To ensure prevent snow build-up underfoot, the crampons are equipped with anti-balling plates as well.


Of course, you get maximum versatility thanks to the toe bails. The Alpinist comes standard with both automatic and semi-auto toe bails to ensure optimal compatibility with your boots.
