Product description
Comfortable, odor-neutral and cozy - the Bergans Ulriken jumper! The merino sweater is made of fine, soft wool from merino sheep and offers fantastic insulation. At the same time, the fibers don’t absorb any odors, they warm you even when they are wet and are temperature regulating. The non-itch comfort is added to with two thumb loops that keep the sweater in place underneath your jacket. A zip on the collar makes putting on and taking off the sweater much easier while also improving ventilation. A chin protector ensures that the zip will not rub on the skin and cause irritations. The Ulriken jumper fits perfectly under the hardshell jacket but is also an eye-catcher when worn solo! ;"

Peculiar cut / weave but effective thermal layer

I was a little disappointed in this when it arrived. The weave is thick and effective at trapping warmth, it's undeniably a great product for keeping warm in sub zero conditions with an appropriate shell, it's got a long and protective neck cowl and good long arms (fortunately Norwegians know that tall people have long arms). However, the cut is a bit odd for me and as a slim tall man the small fits my arms and chest measurement but the body length is too short and I find that it bunches and rides up way too much. Also the weave/knit is more chunky than images suggest which makes it look less appropriate for day-to-day commuting and cold days in the office than I was hoping. It's great for sitting by the fire at a campsite or throwing on after a day in the fells but it's not urban wear at all.
