Product description
A true workaholic when it comes to climbing training - the Apollo II 11 mm by Beal. This single rope’s diameter is 11 mm and thus offers an excellent abrasion-resistance. Therefore, it’s suitable for top ropes, intense training and checking routes which truly challenges the rope. On the other hand, however, it can be used for big wall climbing on granite where the rope is truly challenged as well. The Apollo II provides high safety reserves even when used heavily and stands out due to it’s high number of 16 UIAA falls.
The rope’s big diameter makes for heavy friction in the belay device and thus makes it easier to belay. But you should definitely check whether the diameter is compatible with your belay device before you buy. Climbing schools, training, big wall - if an everlasting single rope is what you need, go for the Apollo II 11 mm.
