The Kappa Hoody winter jacket is already an established member of the Arc'teryx Essentials Collection and rightly so!This lightweight synthetic jacket is made with a very robust and weatherproof outer fabric which effectively traps in the body heat, stored in the lofty Coreloft insulation. The taped seams help make the material virtually waterproof and the siliconised fibres of the filling fleece will keep you warm even in wet conditions.The cut is longer in the back and the sleeves and hem as well as the storm hood are adjustable to provide ideal protection from cold wind and snow flurries. You can adjust the volume of the hood three-dimensionally, it is also warmly lined, equipped with a protective visor and fits over a climbing helmet. The adjustable structure means that the collar can be pulled up high and to protect the face up to the nose.The Kappa Hoody winter jacket comes with an easily-accessible breast pocket, two hand-warmer pockets and large inner mesh pockets, in which things can be kept warm and safe.The characteristically sporty, but subtle design makes this Arc'teryx jacket suitable for everyday urban wear. It was of course developed for winter hiking and mountaineering.
