Product description

New for this year, the Arc'teryx Men's Bora Mid GTX Backpacking Boot handles burly ascents with an ultralight feel. The Bora Mid has that same unique style and performance that we all expect from Arc'teryx. For starters, Arc'teryx constructed the Adaptive Fit liner separately from the upper in order to hug your foot with breathable, quick-drying mono-mesh for a truly customized fit.Arc'teryx slipped GORE-TEX's Performance Comfort Stretch membrane inside the Adaptive Fit liner for extremely reliable waterproof, breathable protection. Unlike standard membranes that only provide partial coverage, Performance Comfort Stretch wraps entirely around the foot from top to bottom in order to maximize protection. The Bora Mid also features a lightweight and surprisingly durable seamless upper designed to handle rock, snow, and ice with ease. This seamless upper features a non-woven, DWR-treated internal surface that sheds wet weather, PU-coated nylon for air permeability and abrasion-resistance, and TPU film for enhanced support and durability. The two top lace holes have integrated reinforcements to reduce stretching.Underfoot, Arc'teryx equipped the Bora Mid with a premium injected EVA midsole designed for stability and enhanced braking. The 3D molded toe and heel caps buffer impact, offer rock protection, and resist cracking for durability. There's also an anatomical arch shank, and the custom-developed 3D molded Ortholite footbed offers maximum comfort and breathability. For the sole, Arc'teryx worked in collaboration with Vibram to give you the best traction on any trail. This sole includes a climbing zone with traction grooves, grippy inserts for smearing, RockGrip technology with anti-slip lugs, a mountaineering-inspired heel tread for stability, and a spherical heel shape for a smooth stride.

I would definitely buy it again!

I have for more than 2 years now the ACRUX 2 FL, at first I was really sceptical and concerned on which terrain would be the best for use this shoes and how good enough can be? So one day I went to a difficult terrain with a lot of rocks and stones and I was impressed ,very supportive ,stiff enough for this kind of terrain with very good grip! When my Salomon 4D Quest tear apart..next day I ordered this boots and received them after few days and the next day to a 10 mile route! Was superb choice ! One of the best choices out there ,even if its very early to say cause I used them for just 1 time till now, I believe are the same as well my Acrux2. Thanks a lot Arcteryx !
