Product description
Full weather protection, maximum robustness, excellent comfort and numerous features, with no more than just 500 grams of weight and a design which makes it suitable for everyday wear!
This is the Beta SV jacket by Arc’teryx!

This triple-layer hardshell is exceptionally long lasting and very versatile. It is as suitable for mountaineering as it is for use on trekking tours with heavy backpacks. When you need to have total confidence in the reliability of your equipment, the Beta SV is the perfect jacket!
It comes with a helmet compatible hood, which is fully adjustable and can be used one-handed and even with gloves on. With or without a helmet underneath - it gives your head total freedom of movement, without limiting your field of vision. In stormy wind the collar can be pulled up to the tip of the nose.
At the cuffs the jacket has lasered hook-and-loop fasteners and at the waistband there is a drawcord (can be used one-handed). This means that damp and cold are no match for his jacket!
The Beta SV is equipped with five pockets (including two inside pockets), so that you can safely store anything you need easy access to - from lift passes to thermos flasks. All external zippers are strongly hydrophobic and fully operable even in icy weather and while wearing mittens.

The fit of the Beta SV is designed to be compatible with an insulating jacket underneath (e.g. a synthetic jacket) and consequently is a comfortable, but not too relaxed, fit. The arms are three-dimensionally preformed making the jacket much easier to put on, and also preventing it from bunching up under climbing harnesses.

If you’re looking for a perfect fit combined with the pack size and weight of an emergency weather protection jacket, the comfort of a light rain jacket and the robustness of an alpine hardshell, then the Beta SV by Arc’teryx is exactly what you need!
