The synthetic upper is breathable and has a GORE-TEX membrane, making the shoe totally waterproof. Maximum comfort and optimal energy recovery is ensured by the Boost midsole - regardless of whether you are on uneven or even rocky terrain. The rapid lacing system is also very practical, allowing the shoe to be put on and taken off quickly, and also looks great. The Terrex Skychaser is an approach shoe that makes you feel good on virtually all terrains - regardless of difficulty.

Not so great. After 2 months they are torn.

After only 2 months, both shoes tore up at the lacing closest to the toe. That's a real pity as the fit is perfect. Clearly Adidas is not used to making durable hiking products. I will go back to established brands like Scarpa or La Sportiva.
